Support the VSO | Receptions and Gatherings

Many receptions and gatherings are held throughout the VSO’s busy season: in conjunction with concerts around the state, hosted by board members, and as fundraisers.

Pre- and Post-Concert Receptions
These gatherings immediately follow select concerts and take place at or near the concert venue.  A great opportunity to discuss the performance, interact with musicians, guest artists and conductors, and fellow patrons, the post-concert receptions serve as the perfect way to conclude the concert-going experience.  These events are open to all or limited to selected people, depending on the events schedule.

Sponsor and Underwriter Receptions
Traditionally held at the Flynn Center in conjunction with a Masterworks series concert, this reception is open to all VSO sponsors and underwriters, as well as members of the Governing Board and regional trustees.

Bravo Society Receptions
Each season, a special intimate gathering is held for the members of the exclusive Bravo Society.  This may take place at a concert venue or in a private home, and features VSO artistic leadership and/or guest artists. Patrons' Reception
This exclusive reception is an annual thank-you to the VSO's special supporters including members of the Bravo Society, Legacy Society, Crescendo Society, and other special friends.

“YoPros” Gatherings
Held under the auspices of the Outreach Committee of the Champlain Valley Friends of the VSO, these informal gatherings take place at a bar or restaurant near the Flynn Center in Burlington prior to select Masterworks concerts.
