Join VSO guest violin soloist Bella Hristova to attend a free masterclass on Thursday, May 4 at 4:30 p.m., where three young, aspiring violin students from South Burlington, Essex, and Williston play and receive instruction on musical techniques and performance. Hristova will perform David Ludwig’s Saturn Bells and Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra on May 6 at the Flynn in Burlington, under the direction of conductor Jaime Laredo. This masterclass is presented in partnership with Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival (lccmf.org), and takes place at the South Burlington Public Library Auditorium at 180 Market St. South Burlington.
