The VSO is a unionized, part-time, fully professional, per service orchestra.
Travel, per diem, and housing provided per CBA.
2024/2025 section rates: $161.44/performance – $49.68/rehearsal hour (assistant principal receives 15% over base section rate).
All applicants should be prepared to demonstrate either U.S. citizenship or legal eligibility to accept employment, and, upon acceptance of employment, must belong to the American Federation of Musicians.
