- Will premiere 2028/29 season. Commissioned via the League of American Orchestras’ Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation Orchestral Commissions Program.

Nico Muhly: Sounding piano concerto
- Premiered May 4, 2024: VSO at the Flynn: Mozart, Mazzoli, and Muhly – Vermont Symphony Orchestra featuring pianist Adam Tendler, Music Director Andrew Crust, and the VSO. Co-commissioned with the New Jersey Symphony.
