Education and community collaboration have always been an important part of the VSO’s statewide mission. In the 2015-2016 season, SymphonyKids reached over 26,000 students through 278 presentations, serving 175 schools in 141 towns!

The VSO depends on hundreds of volunteers each year. There are many volunteer opportunities available at VSO concerts and behind the scenes; from ushering, to helping out in the office, to providing hospitality to musicians.
