Jane Kittredge began studying the violin at age four. Earning her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees at the Mannes College of Music, Jane has enjoyed a diverse performance career as a soloist, chamber player, and orchestral violinist. Her solo engagements, festival appearances and orchestral tours have brought her across the country, and throughout Mexico, London, Beijing, Italy, Canada and the French Alps.

Based in Shelburne, Vermont, Jane can be seen and heard performing with a variety of ensembles including the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Springfield Symphony, and New York City’s DCINY Orchestra. An active teacher and music educator, Jane is an affiliate artist faculty member at the University of Vermont, has a small private violin studio, and regularly coaches the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association string sections.
