Known for her complex electronic looping techniques, Emmy-nominated, Burlington-based DIY electric cellist Zoë Keating composed a new work we’ll premiere with our talented string quartet. We’ll also explore the works of Mason Bates, Composer in Residence for the Kennedy Center and a DJ whose music is a fusion of his two worlds, and Anna Clyne, a composer of “uncommon gifts and unusual methods” according to the New York Times. We’ll also throw in a good dose of Ludwig van Beethoven, George Walker and more.
Whether you’re Gen X, Gen Z, or the Greatest Generation, come hang out with our Jukebox host Matt LaRocca and the VSO musicians for a Sunday afternoon brunch of trendsetting.
